Dogs

DOGS returns to explore the powerful bond between humanity and dogs in four new intimate, heartwarming episodes. Whether it's the story of an astronaut, a priest, a military contractor, or the handler of a legendary university mascot, Dogs shows us how these beautiful animals occupy the same place in all of our hearts — one reserved not just for pets, but for family.

Dogs is a Netflix Documentary Series, developed as a documentary series by Glen Zipper. Academy Award-nominated Amy Berg of Disarming Media and Zipper, of Zipper Bros Films, serve as executive producers.

Kristi Jacobson directs Season 2 Episode 4: The Protectors, where a Brazilian priest's abiding compassion for unwanted strays inspires a grassroots network devoted to finding them homes, one dog at a time.

“As bad as the world may seem to have gotten, dogs never seem to lose faith in humanity, and judging by the two-legged subjects seen in ‘Dogs,’ maybe people shouldn’t lose faith in humanity either.”
