Through Our Eyes
THROUGH OUR EYES is an intimate and inspiring journey into the lives of American families, from the perspective of children themselves as they navigate formidable yet all-too-common challenges along with parents and siblings. In episode 3: Homefront - directed by Kristi Jacobson - Gabby, Terry, and Luther all have parents who were injured while serving, and each family has found a way to heal the wounds of war.
Homefront was nominated for an NAACP Image Award and the film was a Columbia-DuPont Award Finalist. It was re-released in 2024 on PBS and is now Streaming on PBS.
